Do scanners need the app?
There is no app. Scanning opens a normal web page. If a phone can read a QR code, it works.
What happens to printed tags if details change?
Nothing — the tag holds a permanent link, not the data. Update the asset and every printed tag shows the new information on the next scan.
What if I stop paying?
Your account becomes read-only, but public tag pages keep working. A label stuck to a machine should never go dark — that's a promise, not a feature.
Will it warn me before a warranty expires?
Yes. Put the warranty date on the asset and that's it — you get an email 30 days out, 7 days out, and on the day, plus a Monday summary of anything expiring soon. The Reminders page lists every upcoming date in one place.
Is my data safe?
You decide what a scanner sees, field by field. Serial numbers, prices, and notes are private by default. Daily backups and point-in-time recovery run behind the scenes.
